Challenging and Lovely!

I picked this pattern to make as a gift for a friend who grows lilies in her garden. It was a wonderful absorbing project that took me a while and was gratifyingly lovely when completed. I changed the colors of the lilies to match my friends flowers. As always, Peppermint Purple designs are satisfying and not too complicated. A pleasure to sew!

This is a lovely combination of blackwork and cross stitch. Will probably end up with a couple of these pieces to hang in my foyer
