This pattern was very challenging more because it was done during a period of turmoil and transition, moving our mom into assisted living. As a result there are mistakes. But I went with it; it’s organic and just as nature has imperfections so do humans. Thank you Clare, for helping me find an outlet. I will be framing this, mistakes and all and give it to our queen bee mum. She watched me as I stitched and I want to honor her as the Queen bee of our family

I'll admit it: I'm obsessed with bees. My father was once a beekeeper and I've been involved in our local pollinator efforts to help keep the bee population thriving. AND I love hexagons and octagons. This has my name on it and now it's mine!

Great pattern. Easy to order and and download straightaway. As with all Clare’s designs, the Instructions are clear and precise making stitching a relaxing and rewarding experience. The colours suggested by Clare look better in real life than on the website photo. I’m all ready to start now …
