Straightforward pattern demonstrating how to increase the complexity of a simple fill pattern to add shading to a project
A great design! Easy to follow. Quick to work up.
Really enjoyed doing this project and very pleased with the result. I had to make a few changes to get the pattern to fit the book mark strip, which is 14 count Aida, I used two strands of DMC 825.
I started this project yesterday, and am enjoying the challenge and the beauty of the pattern. Which reminds me of an Elizabethan knot garden (I am doing the middle pattern of three)
I have had to make a few adjustments to fit the pattern into the bookmark strip. I am also having to concentrate because of the complexity of the pattern and the fact that the shading means you have to be aware of how the pattern is changing.
So far a very satisfying project.
