The 2024 SAL

Lovely designs, easy to stitch. I love them all, and wish I could afford, and have time to stitch everything. :)

The prices are so reasonable, the patterns are easy to follow and so satisfying to complete. My stitching has improved so much. A joyous site...thank you

I am not on Facebook any more which means I can't see how other people are getting on with their SALs unfortunately. This is what mine looks like so far. Thank you, Clare, for yet another beautiful design and I love the floral border, which looks so pretty in the colours you have suggested. I am using DMC for the border and a single colour of Sulky for the weekly fillers, on 25 count evenweave.

This is a lovely border. I’ve stitched the frame and one corner so far and I’m infatuated! Clare does amazing designs and I’m thrilled to support her with this very reasonably priced border!

Although I was pulled in another direction there was plenty of opportunity to download the files for later and reminders that the files would be gone soon. It is a beautiful project that I will finish this year.

I am really enjoying stitching this pattern. The best part is that this SAL is fabulous because everything stitched is in a frame. A very clever design for an SAL and not very daunting too!

In 2020, I came across a FB post with a Peppermint Purple stitched piece, looked at the website and signed up for the newsletter that spring. In reading a newsletter, the free Stitch A Long (SAL) was mentioned, so I took a look - after stitching for 40 years, I had never done a SAL nor blackwork! I was intrigued with the design, and ended up stitching two different color schemes (one Christmas, one Mardi Gras since I am from Louisiana). I have been so impressed not only with the Peppermint Purple designs, but the level of service from the designer is impeccable. Anyone who purchases these designs will love them and be able to use them for many years to come!

So many beautiful designs! Winter is coming which means more time to stitch.

Beautiful patterns and very interesting sal!

This was my first ever blackwork project. The instructions and charts were very clear and detailed and made starting this project a breeze. I found that I love doing this type of stitching so much and I’m sure the ease of which I could read the pattern helped. I’m looking forward to many, many more blackwork projects!

This is my first time doing stitch work/blackwork/SAL and what an awesome way to learn and the patterns are so much fun to do. Never a dull moment with Clare's work. Will do the SAL every year! It keeps me busy the whole year, what a bargain.

After years of watching everyone else partake in the yearly stitch-a-longs I finally jumped in with this layout. Love the design. It was really easy to stitch. I started a little bit late (like a month later) and was able to catch up pretty fast. I love imaginary rockets. This one is really cute. Why not shoot for the stars and land on the moon. If you’re into space related stuff this one is perfect. So happy with it and can’t wait to stitch the rest of the layout. Claire’s designs are unbelievable in how she can create such layouts year after year AND give her members options in which layout to pick. Paying a bit of money to get a personalized layout is so worth it. Money well spent.

The year is almost over (a quarter or so to go) and every week I’m more and more happy with each and every fill in I complete. Highly recommend.

I have completed the SALs for the last few years using the free borders but when I saw the photos of the doily border for this year's SAL, I decided that it is the one I am going to use. Downloading was very easy. Now I just need to find the right fabric for such a pretty border!

I've seen what other stitchers have done with this year's SAL and this looks like the perfect border. I didn't count on adding a border when I started my SAL so I hope I have enough fabric to add it.

Great design, easy to follow along. Would recommend this to anyone who has experience with blackwork.

I have been in PP's SAL's since 2000, and every year she expands and adds more options. they are always creative and easy to follow. I love the Frames Border!
